Chains are required on all vehicles except all wheel drive both directions from milepost 46 near Denny Creek, 5 miles west of the summit to milepost 56 near Gold Creek, 5 miles east of the summit. Oversize vehicles are prohibited. Travelers are experiencing up to 30 minutes of added travel time.
